Cactus 9609 metal print by Julie Powell. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

All of my work is shot in the dark and I use small flashlights to light my subject. I do not alter my work in any way, except for an occasional crop. All colors and blemishes are true to the plant itself.
About Julie Powell
For many years I've enjoyed gardening and waking up each day to see what blooms formed overnight. There are a number of photos of flowers and gardens by day, but what do flowers look like in the darkness of the night? Most of my photos are taken in the dark and my subjects are "painted" with lights in order to give the viewer a glimpse of something they may have never seen before. I do not use any computer manipulation (except an occasional crop) when taking my photos.
